Empowering disadvantaged young people aged 10 to 18 years so they can live their best lives.

The hard truth is that many kids, not by their choice, struggle each day with additional challenges—emotional, financial, basic living, abuse, mental health, parental drug and alcohol addiction, and more.

It’s why, for 130+ years, we’ve been helping young South Aussies who require assistance to access positive opportunities, relieve hardship, and build personal capabilities and resiliency.

In our modern, evolving world, the way forward starts with closing gaps, removing barriers, and reaching out with a helping hand.

As a grant-making body, we fund work that supports kids at risk by reducing divides.

We offer grants of up to $10,000, sometimes more, to service providers, schools, and not-for-profit organisations in order to help young people from all backgrounds.

It’s about helping children live up to their potential through grants that provide access, inclusion, and more to disadvantaged young South Australians who would otherwise fall behind.
